Cardiac diagnostics: COVID-19 lockdowns drove a sustained drop in noninvasive testing
In a population-based Ontario time-series of 5.3 million tests, weekly rates fell from 228.8 to 105.9 per 100,000 person-weeks during the first lockdown and remained below baseline through early 2022, with outpatient testing hit hardest and a modality shift toward more cardiac CT.
