How we create and review content

Who writes it
Every article names its author, who has a profile on this page.
How we check it
Before an article is published, its medical claims are checked against the sources it cites. When a clinician has reviewed an article, their name and the review date appear on it. We never name someone as a reviewer unless they actually reviewed the article.
Sources
We cite peer-reviewed studies, clinical guidelines and official health bodies, and link each key claim to its source.
Updates
We update articles when guidelines or evidence change. Reviewed articles show the date of their last review.
Corrections
Found a mistake? Email support@verahealth.ai and we will review it and correct the article.
Independence
Vera Health writes the articles on this blog, including comparisons with other tools.
